Been a fair while since i last posted, not alot has been going on with me lately actually. Semester 2 is in full swing (well it was in full swing from the first week >.<) and the busiest year of my life continues. I’ve been playing with screens lately, a linux guru friend of mine from uni has been teaching me a few tricks. He’s really loves text based terminal applications so i’ve been playing with some of those too, firstly is bitlbee. I have that running on an external server so i can keep it running throughout the day, i’ve also got a MUTT running on my desktop so i can SSH into that and pull up the screen for that too. I’ve seen things like this used before but most for colberative working rather than running applications.
I also FINALLY managed to listen to linux outlaws 76 just before 77 came out =D, i don’t like to listen to it a week or so out of date. No particular reason for it just feels wierd. Not alot else to say really :s.
I was thinking about doing a post on some of my favorite linux tricks so i’ll see if i have time for that later on
